Getting a new computer? Don't risk your files.
Photos, documents and everything else that matters move across to the new machine, and the old computer comes back untouched. Here's how it works, so nothing rests on trusting a stranger.
You'll be asked to sign a one-page authorization before any files are moved. It takes a minute, it's in plain words, and it exists to protect you: it puts in writing that your old machine stays untouched.
Your old computer isn't wiped as part of the move
It comes back to you with everything still on it. If anything turns out to be missing later, the original is still sitting there.
