How much will it cost?

Most home visits fall between $79.99 and $159.99. Call or text and describe the problem, and you'll get an estimate before anything is booked. If something more turns up, we stop and ask before any extra work.

Do I have to bring my computer in?

No. Help comes to you. That's the whole idea: no unplugging a tower, no carrying it to the car, no leaving it at a counter for three days.

Not very good with technology?

You don't need to know the right words. Describe it however makes sense to you, and it'll get worked out from there. That describes most callers.

Can I just ask a quick question?

Often, yes. Call or text and describe it. If it's quick, we'll tell you. If it needs hands on the device, you'll get an estimate for a visit or a remote session.

What if you're busy or away?

You won't be left wondering. If it's urgent and can't be fitted in, you'll be told who can help instead. A useful pointer beats a job held on to too long.

Is it safe to let you see my computer?

Fixing a computer means being signed in to it, so the protection is in what gets done, not what can be seen: nothing copied onto other equipment, nothing kept afterwards, nothing outside the job opened. The privacy page explains it all.

Can you move my files to a new computer?

Yes. Your old computer isn't wiped as part of the move, so the originals stay put as a safety net. You sign a short authorization first, and everything gets checked together before anyone leaves.

Can you help without coming over?

Yes, many problems can be fixed remotely. Home remote help is $44.99 for up to 30 minutes (most sessions $44.99–$89.99). Business remote help is $59.99 for up to 30 minutes (most sessions $59.99–$119.99).

Do you work with businesses too?

Yes. First hour: $99.99 — diagnosis, and a fix where one's possible in that time. After the first hour, $99.99/hour in 30-minute blocks, and we check with you first. If a website, app or automation follows, the visit fee is credited in full toward it. The business page has the detail.

How soon can you come?

Visits are by appointment, any day of the week. Call or text to book a time. You'll get a realistic idea of timing right away.

How do I pay?

Home visits: paid at the end of the visit (cash, e-transfer, Visa, Mastercard). Remote help: paid before the session ends. Business: invoiced after the visit, due within 7 days. Prices in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.
